If your philosophy is "bright gear is easier to find," the Safety Orange Crux is probably your kind of knife.
This is Walker Knife Co.'s take on the ideal PFD knife. Compact, lightweight, ridiculously corrosion resistant, and built without a bunch of features you don't need. The result is a knife that carries comfortably every day and is ready when it's time to deal with rope, webbing, fishing line, or an unexpected problem on the water.
The Safety Orange scales make this version particularly popular with guides, instructors, and rescue folks who prefer their essential gear to be visible from across the boat. It turns out that finding your knife is a lot easier when it isn't hiding among a pile of black straps, black buckles, and black PFDs.
Built from MagnaCut steel and paired with a secure Kydex sheath, the Crux is made for long days on rivers, coastlines, and anywhere else water and corrosion like to attack gear.
